- PLAYGROUPS (FREE)
Weekly, we have three playgroups operating in different locations. Playgroup provides your child with a rich learning setting that encourages social, emotional and physical skills that empower your child's holistic growth anddevelopment. Play is a fun way for your child to build a foundation for future learning. Our groups provide your child with the opportunity to mix and make friends with other children.
- MUSIC GROUP (FREE)
We pay for your child to attend a weekly music group this provides your child with an excellent introduction to musical concepts such as rhythm, beat and pitch, while at the same time allowing your child to have fun and be part of a larger group setting.
- GYM GROUP (FREE)
Our weekly Gym group is a wonderful way for your child to develop their growing motor skills and to help them gain control over their bodies. During the gym sessions your child will have the opportunities to climb, jump,balance and crawl (to name but a few activities) allowing them to become increasing agile and coordinated in a safe and fun way.
- KIDS DAY OUT (FREE)
Waikato Family Homebased Childcare offers your child an excursion each term. Our newsletters will keep you informed of when and where the next excursion will be held. Our excursions include the Hamilton Zoo, airport, fire station and donkey farm (to name but a few).
- TOY LIBRARY / EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES (FREE)
Our Toy Library has an extensive range of toys and resources available for our educators free of charge. This includes arts and crafts, puzzles, blocks, bikes and trikes, dress up, interactive musical toys and lots more. Having age appropriate resources and toys available to each individual child is an important part of children’s learning, ensuring they are regularly offered sufficient learning experiences. Our ever expanding toy library encourages and facilitates this.
